I still don't know anything about hockey
But, I'm trying to learn.
So, I missed Pens/Caps tonight because I had to work. There's something very wrong when the 2 hyped players of the game both get hat tricks but the wrong team ends up winning because the right team isn't paying attention to who's skating where most of the time.
This highlight (read: lowlight) clip I found on youtube to get myself caught up from tonight's game pretty much delineates everything that happened and when.
Great vid imo! Although, if it didn't show the Penguins handing the game to the Capitals, it'd be a little bit better.
Every single time Ovechkin scores, its because the Penguins seemed to conveniently forget that he was out there on the ice. If the Pens lose this series, I wouldn't be surprised. Realizing that I know nothing about the sport, it still seems to me that strategy here would be pretty easy. Cover Ovechkin/Pummel Varlamov. Its not like the Caps have an all star lineup.
Course all you gotta do is win, don't mattah how!
Anyhow... for a real opinion (backed with like knowledge and statistics and all that fun stuff) check out The Pens Blog since they actually know what they're talking about. :(
